It’s been a great year for those of us whose hearts beat at a slightly slower tempo. After a few rigid years where kick drums hammered away at 128 beats per minute all night long, more and more DJs and producers are exploring a wider range of tempos. As deep house has come back into vogue, 120 is the new 128—and for a few intrepid souls, 110 is the new 120.
An act that has consistently gone from strength to strength over the last half decade, with last year's Pill Collin's track absolutely flying of the walls at Spank! and crashing the soundcloud server multiple times (doesn't it warm the hear to see digital traffic converted into tangible music sales!). trickski is a collaboration of the two producers and djs yannick labbé and daniel "stoerte" becker as well as mc jack migger a.k.a. fna, who joins them for special events.
trickskis dj sets are always fun! they see the house / techno field in a broad context and move between deep and more jacking house to techno and more rocking disco and cosmic tunes.
if you are only interested in a straight night of minimal techno you are wrong booking trickski. but you can exspect surprises and sweat all over!
