After last year’s successful edition of Midnight Beats, Cinematique proudly presents the second installment of these series.
A full length compilation album fueled with an impressive amount of quality from all over the world. Lots of new names this year: from Holland we welcome the talented Nick Hogendoorn, Stan B and Rob Hes (formerly known as Spetterphat). Further south in Europe, from Spain to be more specific, we received a massive track by Kino Internacional. Italy is represented by a duo with the mysterious name of David Hofmann. From the UK we have no one less then Magic Panda aboard and the Italian born lady Irene Radice, who currently lives in London. The digital ways from Belarus reached Cinematique HQ as well with a very fine contribution by Mauro Norti and Teho represents the sound of France. Last but not least, and the only artist who contributed to Cinematique before, Vasile Gorbani from the Romania is back again with a very groovy tune.
As you will notice, this compilation shows again the strenght of electronic music coming from all over the world. There are no boundaries and all the artists have contributed tracks in which they prove what they do best: making music… their music. Without limitations, without any ordered directions. Full freedom of creativity and that makes Midnight Beats 2 truly a compilation which fits within ‘the widescreen of electronic music’ philosophy of Cinematique.
