Resident DJs and co-promoters Simon Ledder & Mattie Twentythree formed WEPLAYMUSIC in January 2008, as a monthly club night based in London.

Playing alongside some of the hottest new DJ talents around - the likes of Roland M Dill (Traum/Trapez), Terry Francis (Fabric) and The Pushamann (N.o.N) - WEPLAYMUSIC have built up a cult following, spinning tunes in a number of venues around London and the North.

WEPLAYMUSIC is constantly pushing the very best in underground tech house and techno. Mattie likes his tunes melodic, minimal, glitchy, and warm, while Simon is known for crafting sets of dark, techy, haunting, melodic, genre-bending techno.

Along with seeking out the best in cutting edge sounds, WEPLAYMUSIC is also dedicated to playing tunes from the early days of electronic dance music, spinning classic new wave, italo, electro, ebm, and acid. Some tunes you know, some you won’t, but all will hopefully make you smile and most of all dance.

WEPLAYMUSIC is about seeking out the very best music, old and new, to provide the perfect blend of raw dancefloor appeal and musical emotion.

Our own musical obsessions aside, we also aim to showcase the best techno DJs from around the world, be it spinning a set at one of nights, or via an exclusive mix on our website.
