Techno forecast: It’s gonna pour black acid rain on Saturday October 9 at an inner city warehouse.

This ‘disturbance in the force’ is due to Gregor Tresher, the German pioneer behind club staples like ‘Black Rain’, playing an exclusive Sydney show for Subsonic AND Chemistry  in the intimate confines of the *secret* location.

Boasting a formidable techno pedigree, Tresher’s ticked all the boxes to impress club neophytes: remixing Sven Väth, producing Monika Kruse’s acclaimed LP Changes Of Perception, collaborating with Johannes Heil and releasing on labels like Cocoon and Ovum. Tresher also runs his own label, Break New Soil Recordings, which he kicked off in grand style with his EP ‘The Heartbeat Orchestra’, but cherry picking through Tresher’s discography doesn’t tell the full story.
