Two dudes known to their parents as Duncan and Nick but to the DFA Records family they are Mock & Toof. Seemingly a true pack of uncompromising pommie bastards for all the right reasons; refusing to be pigeonholed by any trends and it comes through in their sets and productions. Duncan previously stating to journo’s "We've never been about 'nu-disco', whatever that means anyway". It was their work for the Juan McLean that brought them notice and since they’ve remixed a bunch of great acts in Holy Ghost, Hot Chip, Ladyhawke, Scissor Sisters and more! Their debut record Tuning echoes was released last year, the dopeness of lead single Farewell to Wendy making it evident why James Murphy showcases these lads on his sister label Death from Abroad.
