Rustie burst onto the scene in 2007 as one of the key figures at the time in the burgeoning "wonky" scene. Since then the Glaswegian has built up a strong following with releases on Stuffrecords, Kapsize and 
Wireblock before signing to Warp in 2010. 

The release of his debut LP Glass Swords grabbed attention globally catapulting him into the media spotlight putting it it top of the end of the year lists with it's unique blend of Dubstep, Crunk, R & B, House, Grime and Glitch making it one of the most unique long players of the year and winning him 
"Guardian First Album award". His Dj sets are as similarly eclectic as his production tearing up dance-floors worldwide.
