For our final AudioKinesis party of the summer, Roam Music, in conjunction with Harmonic Productions, are proud to welcome Junction SM to San Francisco on their debut west coast performance at a legendary 150 capacity underground venue which needs no name.

The duo produces a unique sound; gushingly playful, funky house and techno infused with Latin-inspired percussion. On June 5th, experience this union of Dandy Jack’s rhythmic constructions with Sonja Moonear’s excellent record selection in stunning 360 degree high definition stereo.

During a Junction SM performance, Dandy Jack's sets are routed through 2 channels of Sonja's DJ mixer giving her control over the whole given sound. She can then use his sounds as an additional source to her records, add additional filters, cuts or edit it with several effects. Throughout the night, Sonja pitches her records to Dandy's live set.

Sometimes Sonja mixes entire records over his sets, or sometimes she only adds a high-hat, a bass-drum or a simple melody. Through the night look for Dandy Jack improvisation solos or additional rhythm patterns on top of Sonja's mixes.
