The Last Supper – O Último Ceia

The Last Supper returns with their monthly event filled with Brazilian flavours, delivering 2 floors of music with guests including Los Charly’s Orchestra live, Cliffy and all the way from Sao Paulo, Wander A.

After the recent Bank Holiday Sunday party with Milton Jackson and Shur-i-kan that rocked this east London venue, The Last Supper hit the summer months with an equally impressive look to June. Continuing their mix of underground house music and Brazilian beats, they have created a line up fit to take the roof off any club on any night in London, let alone a Sunday!

Flying in from Brazil will be Wander A. As a resident at the infamous Colors parties in Sao Paulo, this underground house DJ is revered for his deep tech house vibes and will draw massive attention while in our capital city. He will of course be ably accompanied by East Village music programmer and Faiths Stuart Patterson, plus a real treat for live music lovers, Los Charly’s Orchestra.

Los Charly’s Orchestra, a music project created by Venezuelan producers Juan Laya & Jorge Montiel, will be kicking off the evening in the basement club. This band combines a retro but still modern sounding style and is characterized by creating a unique feeling that blends the Boogie-Disco feeling of the 70's from a Latin perspective. Recent releases have seen remixes from the likes of Joey Negro!

The deco lounge will be taking a more traditional Brazilian feel with special guest Cliffy, who also runs his Batmacumba nights in west London, looking after the samba, baile funk and bossa nova beats as people kick back and relax over the best food and drinks in the comfortable sofa’s and surroundings.

With residents Fold Out DJ’s, who welcome back Barry Eaton from Spain after the creation of his new project Underground Valenciano, and also regulars WePlayCDs and DJ Simes also in attendance, the line up for great music on both floors is complete.

The kitchen serves a select menu plus Sunday roasts. For Sunday 28 June, the menu will contain a selection of Brazilian specials. Food is available between 2pm and 8pm.
Tequila offers will be available throughout the day and evening.
