Black:Particle People:6/6: Andomat 3000 (Cadenza, Cecille, Morris Audio)
After a long winter of techno, techno, techno, we've decided to house it up a little bit. It's summer time, it's warm out (finally!) and it's time to get down...We have a VERY special performance from one of our favorite producers...the one and only...
Cadenza, Cecille', Morris Audio
Andreas Wiegand plays most of his live performances under the pseudonym Andomat 3000. The project started off as a cooperation with Jan Iwanitz under the name of Andomat 3000 & Jan. The two of them had already gathered lots of material when Luciano's label Cadenza became aware of their distinctive output and didn't hesitate to sign them. It's well-known that Cadenza has a keen sense of high-quality sounds that are ahead of their time. Both the release "Entr'acte Music" and the EP "L Delay" were a raving success and were played and valued by many famous DJs, including Sven Väth, Ricardo Villalobos, André Galluzzi, Karotte, Chloé, Matthias Tanzmann, Raresh and Anja Schneider.
These days, Andomat 3000 is working more on his own again and keeps releasing high-quality sounds. Besides production, his skills as a live act are undisputed and guarantee top-notch parties every single time. Also on an international level people have recognised his outstanding abilities, and bookings have taken him from Amsterdam to Vienna, from Geneva to Kiev, and even to Tokyo. Thus, 2008 is an eventful year for him. The first tracks have already been released (see discography) and enjoy great popularity with all listeners.
An aspect that Andomat 3000 always sets high value on is the following: “The music has to be funky and get your ass moving!” His ambition is to create minimal, funky, funny and individual house music in the broadest sense. Andomat 3000 says: “I love music and I love making music.” Sometimes it’s as simple as that.
