Line-up / Arveene (Clampdown, Spin FM)
Jamie Clarke (Produse)
Gary Kelly
Frederic (ColorTv)
John Snell (Live)
The ColorTv gang return for a second episode of their immediately unique cellar parties following a remarkably successful June launch.
Colour by name and most definitely colourful by nature this fresh night pulls a cheeky grin at pretty much everything that's typical in Dublin's nightlife.
Following in the footsteps of 'hell breaks loose' institutions such as McGruder's, ColorTv have just one similar ideology, lets just have some good f*%king craic. And located in the Cellar from a full-on, hell-for-leather trad session upstairs in Peadar Kearney's, that won't be too hard.
The guys are sticking to Irish talent for the time being and this month sees Irelands electro prodigy, Arveene, take to the decks Hans Solo.
This man needs no introduction and at only 21 is already well embedded in Ireland's electronic music scene. His recent production work with Misk, remixing for top electro labels such as Turbo and Edbanger Records, has earned them international acclaim, and rightly so.
Straight from a double appearance at the upcoming Oxegen, Arveene will undoubtedly rock this small city centre establishment well into the wee small hours.
'Arvo has played with us a good few times and always buzzes the crowd, I just heard his rage bootleg and its a monster tune that builds and builds then bursts into action but it never relies totally on the original rage song .a killer” - Liam Howlett
“Arveene warmed up for me in Dublin and London a couple of times, and did exactly what a great DJ should do; kept me looking over to find out what certain records were and built the room perfectly. One for the future, Arveene is on it” - Erol Alkan
