Dirty Analogue is back, finally!!! After a relaxing summer we have put some thought and consideration into a booking that will be a sort of treat for all the support you have given us over the two years.
It seemed a long time since we last held an event in the attic back in April with Matthias Meyer, but we finished off the year with a belter and have a lot to live up to. So without further a due we introduce our booking for Dirty Analogue’s 2nd Birthday EKKOHAUS.
Renowned for his electronic sounds, repetitive grooves, clicks, deep bass and weird vocal recordings..
With a high demand of interest in London and an ever increasing schedule in Berlin. His musical virtuosity has taken him to almost every major city in Europe. Playing regularly at Watergate and Arena Club, Berlin, Multi Vitamins, London, Raum and Mochima, Barcelona, private mansions in Kassel, Munich and Bolognia amongst a handful of venues from his home city Athens, Greece.
EKKOHAUS took piano lessons and later won a scholarship in an orchestra percussion course. Add a few years of classical education and you have one of the most promising minimal techno acts to emerge.
2006 Featuring on ' Viva' Minstry of Sound compilation mixed by Steve Lawler. Along with a multiple of releases since on acclaimed labels such as Boxer, Matthias Tanzamann's Cargo Edition, Morris Audio, Serialism, Safari... the list can go on and on.
The art of listening and experiencing music has been his top priority. 'Strictly No Dancing' is a side project introduced by EKKOHAUS as an innovative mobile music experience. Each month the irrational notion which proclaims a secret cult in search of the magic loop!!! becomes the rational device employed in Club der Republik, Berlin for what he describes as: Mainly electronic sounds, repetative grooves, clicks, deep bass and weird vocal recordings.
This is set to be a stormer, so remember to bring some comfortable shoes and get down nice and early for the return of what we hope to be an even bigger year!!!
