The return of the Corktown Music Festival is coming to Roosevelt Park Saturday, July 25, 2009 from 3pm-10pm. This year the festival is teaming up with Lions International District 11A-1 & numerous businesses in and around the Detroit Metro Area to host this growing and exciting event.Roosevelt Park is the 'front lawn' for Michigan Central Station, the train station. The community of Corktown welcomes you to this all-ages celebration. Hours will be from 3pm until 10pm. 5E Gallery (Elements) will have the "From Detroit With Love" art exhibition open throughout the event and be the official after-party destination as the festival comes to a close.There will be two sound stages, an open performance stage, and vendor areas. Our list of talent includes Terrance Parker, G-Dub and Enemy Squad, Detronik, DJ Sicari the Assassin, DJ Greg Mudge, Mike Clark, DJ Guy Lafleur, Kim Wright with band, J White Design.. more to come..
