Wolf + Lamb is a label that stands head and shoulders above its contemporaries. Also the moniker for the imprint’s bosses as DJs, the two strains of Wolf + Lamb are united by a devotion to celebrating cutting edge, off the wall partying.
A collective of like minded artists submerged in a hedonistic groove, the imprint has achieved peerless status through laying down the freshest four to the floor beats. From Seth Troxler’s renegade take on House to the blissed out Disco grooves of Soulclap, the label swerves genres, creating jaw dropping club cuts in the process. The success of the New York label has now propelled Wolf + Lamb as DJs into the international arena. Currently booked for dates including Burning Man, and the legendary Kubicle in London, Zev and Gadi now bring their elegant, ethereal sound to Manchester’s Arthouse.
The day time party on Sunday, August 2 will run from 14:00 in the afternoon until midnight, featuring a supporting cast of some of the North and Midland’s finest DJs. Among them will be Berlin based Matthew Burton – the latest precocious talent added to the Wolf + Lamb stable. Burton’s highly individual take on House has won him many admirers. His DJ sets can be best described as an update on the classic Tyrant sound. Twisted and funky in equal measure, Matthew’s set at Arthouse will confirm his arrival as a red hot emerging artist.
