The Gallery continues to expound it’s mantra of Excellence in the Art of Sound throughout the height of summer on Friday 14th August, with yet more international heavyweights from the electronic music scene for clubland’s aural consumption. Italy’s biggest dance music export Mauro Picotto will be no doubt stepping off yet another plane as he touches down fresh from his midweek Ibizan party Meganite to headline in The Box. The Gallery also welcomes Jerome Is-Mae to the ones and twos at the world famous Ministry of Sound. Scotland’s Jason Cortez adds another facet to the stylistic spectrum with his techno and electro influenced hard dance and finally David Newsum returns home from Dubai and his to round off a supremo Box line up.

Mauro Picotto really shouldn’t need an introduction. DJ and producer, musical visionary, global event curator and owner, and the first and only Italian to be featured among the world’s top 10 DJs....simply a walking LEGEND! 2009 witnesses Mauro continuing to dominate club-land with his omnipresent mid-week party Meganite - “electronic music lifestyle” at the carnivorous Privilege nightclub in Ibiza. Sell out crowds for the previous five years are testament to Mauro’s ability to cater for a cross-genre danceratti, and to disseminate music that is at the cutting edge of electronic wizardry. Let’s hope he brings a copy of his new single “Happily" which has just been released on Alchemy Records. Featuring support from a diverse list of DJ's including DJ Hell, Danny Tenaglia, Francois K, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Joel Mull, and Paco Osuna, "Happily" is sure to be a staple during the upcoming summer season... and a dead cert to go off at The Gallery this Friday!

Brighton based trio My Digital Enemy headline the Bar with a signature sound of progressive tech-house with a trance twist that has been grabbing the attention of clubbers and DJs alike. 2009 has already seen some great releases from the trio including ‘Amazon’, ‘Wasted’ feat Mooli and last month’s ‘Sunrise’. MDE are supported in the Bar by Tom Raines , Antonio Nevaro , Dave Horne, Jamie Sarah Parnell. With the Baby Box and Loft being hosted by Future Friday Feeling and Plastic Fondu respectively peak time summer is sure to be a scorcher regardless of the weather! For us, it’s just business as normal at Gallery HQ.
