After a long break, Immerse 05 is back on the scene this Saturday, July 25th, with a combination of eclectic and exciting Detroit and New York City-based DJs. The night features one of the Motor City's most acclaimed artists, birthday-boy Shaun Reeves, and is fortified by the day's PS1 professors, Chilean mastermind Alexi Delano and Brooklyn King/resident cheese-lover Derek Plaslaiko, as well as NYC Techno-Wiz Tony Rohr and surprise guests! Come join us for this PS1 after-hours/birthday celebration!

Created by the minds behind reSOLUTE's underground (loft, boat, and yard) electronic music excursions, we at Immerse will bring the sights and sounds of our reSOLUTE parties to the nightclubs of New York.

Since his move to Berlin, Shaun Reeves has enthralled European audiences with his own highly distinctive mixture of American house-both classic and contemporary-and the deepest, most cutting-edge aspects of minimal techno and tech-house. Meanwhile, Alexi Delano dwells in the perfect balance between shiny minimalism and dark, vivacious techno. With more than two decades on stage, flawlessly he combines different roots and facets of the contemporary music scale. If you made it to Alexi's sunset set at the last reSOLUTE event, then you already know this will be another night of great music. With the rising popularity of Live PAs, Tony Rohr’s experience, production and performance skills have set him above the rest, and he is considered to be one of the hottest techno acts in America today. Last but certainly not least, we have Derek Plaslaiko-the man of many faces. He has played with the some of the best techno artists out there, but also can switch off easily and play some sexy housey tunes. If you didn’t catch the last back-2-back set he played with Shaun Reeves at La Zarza two months ago, we recommend you make it to this one! Opening this up for this epic birthday celebration will be Todd Sines, midwest minimal tech house innovator from Ohio started producing records for Dan Bell and Carl Craig in 1993. His seminal 12's on Planet E, Peacefrog, 7th City and Background and recent releases on YORE, Frankie and New Kanada are in the boxes of everyone from Richie Hawtin, Danny Tenaglia, Ricardo Villalobos, Ellen Allien, Steve Bug and Carl Craig.. Niko Wessel hails from Hamburg, Germany where he got most of his music background. In the recent years he relocated to NY where he has played at numerous private event, last one being Rabbit Hole. If you haven’t had a chance to hear this young gentlemen till now, oh boy, you are in for a treat.

The event will be held at the newly-renovated and experimentally-oriented HK Lounge. This multi-level venue with three different rooms and roof access is truly a breath of fresh air for New York clubs. Oh and yes, the club is equipped with the Dynacord Sound System!!
