The weekend starts early! Having destroyed Dubloaded in June with a spectacular set which covered dubstep, house, carnival and techno, we couldnt resist the opportunity to bring this talent back to Bristol for a 2 hour set! Make sure you book friday off because this is going to be BIG. Since Martyn turned his attention to writing dubstep/techno, he has produced some of the genre's finest work to date. His album Great Length's was no exception. On its release, Martyn wrote "I always like to think my stuff is ‘music for a warm but rainy day’. You know, low frequencies do something to your muscles when you listen to them. There have been studies of low frequencies contracting your muscles, and because they contract certain muscles you have the urge to move, you know, to get rid of that itchy feeling in your arms and legs.. So that would be a reason to dance." With releases on Soul Motive, Planet Mu, Reduction and others in the pipeline..Hyetal has been a busy boy in the studio. Having also played at loads of other nights in Bristol, Im sure you would have heard that he is a wicked DJ.. some would say flawless. Look out for recent collaborations with Blunted Robots head honcho Shortstuff, these tunes are the business and are being battered by just about everyone including Oneman, Untold, Mary Anne Hobbs and loads more!
