The third and latest instalment of No Fit State is now in full swing.

Pulling together the freshest and most distinctive new talent from three continents, this party will light a fire under our tired and unimaginative London club scene for just one evening, with murmur hosting New York’s hottest production outfit Wolf + Lamb in an intimate space in Hackney, at the creative heart of east London.

This is the third of our infrequently held label parties and likely to be your last chance to join us in 2009. This intense venue is a pure dancefloor spot and another exciting find from the roving eye of label founder Geddes. With a capacity of just 400 and a Funktion One soundsystem on board plus the inspirational sounds of Wolf + Lamb, rising Australian star Mic Newman and our own Geddes.. means No Fit State #3 already looks like a sell out and looks set to become murmur's best soiree yet.

£6 early bird tickets are now completely sold out but £8 advance tickets here on Resident Advisor

****VENUE CHANGE****
Due to unforeseen circumstances we're unable to use our original venue Bar A Bar. However in true form and in the true spirit of keeping the party alive we have found and are using a unique warehouse space close to the centre of Hackney. The location will be revealed to those who confirm their attendance and/or buy advance tickets, two days prior to the event..

Joining Geddes are Wolf + Lamb, the NYC production duo behind the label of the same name. Their label embarked into the vinyl platform this past year and W+L have since been heralded among many as saviours of a stagnant house music scene. Widely admired for re- edits and warm original output, their efforts are pumping new blood through the veins of dance music and their DJ sets are now highly sought after.

murmur still have another four releases in store before the year end, including a debut from Mic Newman. The young Australian's swift rise to prominence can be explained through a unique musical voice layered with innovation, culminating in a radical sound and one that stands out from the clichéd noise. His offering for murmur 'Sizzled Sally' has been creating a massive buzz on limited promo and we welcome the opportunity to welcome him into the fold.

Fri, 09 Oct 2009We can now tell you that this Saturday’s No Fit State party will be taking place at 230 Dalston Lane, E8 1LA (next door to Hackney Downs train station or a short walk from Hackney Central). Buses 30 and 56 stop right outside the venue itself.

It’s the former Hackney Supermarket and is a perfect low-ceilinged party den, with a proper warehouse vibe. http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc147...... More
