Chatting, get drunk/high, look fashionable, score a girl etc. When I talk to a dj they absolutly do not understand the crowd. People are talking, standing still and abolutly not aware what the dj is playing. Afterwards they give him a praise like it was the best party on the planet? Strange way of partying. We (me and entourage) talked about it when we were at the club yesterday, not understanding what those people were actually doing at the front.. but instead of wasting time and getting agitated, we just ignored it. Telling them to fuck off as a visitor will probably lead to an argument and that won't make a night nicer.
It is true what olaf11 says, that it's just something in Holland that people do. At the bigger parties (Awakenings and such) is much less though.

people talking on the dancefloor is a common thing in holland i'm afraid. it's a social thing, not necessarily connected to Trouw or any other club i think.

Ha, I didn't realise that was Troxler playing with Patrice, that was a quality set. Loved it. Maybe even the set of the party?
I thought Dettmann played a bit slower/softer than I expected, but then some people had been on it for days and perhaps a Berghain set wasn't really what was needed. Mr Dettmann definately played some good tunes though, good stuff, I had a great time.
