Line-up / BACKWARDS MAN, JACKIE ONASSID, KETASTEP, LUNA_TIK,GRITMatt Costa aka Backwards Man from Queensland is down to play the first of a new monthly dubstep night called RUBBER at Liquid Nightclub. Rubber is bassy, bitsy and bold; presenting dance floor bombs in the realm of the dubstep sound. Backwards Man is bringing his own tropical blend of Northern-Queensland glitchhop and dubstep.
Inspired by trance and seduced by hip hop and dubstep, electronic music did get the better of Matt three years ago. He says, ‘any bass-wise wobbly phat stuff makes me tingle… my style could be categorised anywhere from funky hipstep through to real dark hefty dubstep.’ Backwards Man has already made his mark at Earth Freq and Bush Week festival impressing with his production skills and originality of sound, promising to be top dance floor fuel.
