MISTER SATURDAY NIGHT WITH DIXON

Mister Saturday Night is back for the fall. Our first guest for the relaunch is Mister Steffen Berkhan, also known as Dixon. He's been consistently climbing to the top of the dance music world for the past couple years, and his ascension is no surprise: ever since he released his mix for Get Physical's Body Language series, it's been evident that that he has a musical ear, shattering any preconceived notions about what house music should sound like. His label, Innervisions, which was co-founded with Ame off the back of his now gone residency at Weekend in Berlin, has released some of the biggest tracks in the 2000s.

We've been itching to host him again since we had him at the second season of The Beach Party in the summer of 2007, but he's a busy man, having only played once in New York since (at the excellent House-n-Home day party last spring). Now we've got what we wanted. He's playing alongside Justin Carter and Eamon Harkin in Bushwicks Market Hotel, a former Dominican speakeasy from the late 70s (think Scarface - iron columns and red shag) run by the hero of the DIY indie scene Todd P. We're thrilled!
