Night Trackin' is banging out some incredible guests for the next few weeks as part of the TIFF 4 AM last call thunder.

First up to bat this week is none other than NYC's DJ SPUN

A venerable institution in both the New York and San Francisco Music scenes, DJ Spun has headed up the groundbreaking record label Rong Music, a new dual imprint collaboration with DFA, as well as Rong off shoot labels, Tu Rong (re-releasing & updating classic's from legendary NY house label Nu Groove) and finally Promo Only - which helped start the world wide disco edit craze.
Spun is also the curator and organizer of P.S.1/MoMA's prestigious Warm Up Music Series. Acknowledged as NYC's best Summertime Party, “Warm Up” averages 4000 attendees each Saturday. He's also a resident DJ at APT. and Santos Party House in NYC and at the Oasis outdoor disco in California..

AZARI & III (I'm a Cliche, Permanent Vacation, Automatt)

AZARI & III, pronounced "a-zar-ee and third", is the clandestine collaboration between Toronto based producers Dinamo Azari and Alixander III. Taken form over the winter of 08/09, the duo have garnered love and praise from the people and the press, and continue to make seductive and challenging musical artifacts sure to stand the test of time.

With a sound both futuristic and reminiscent, bold tracks like HUNGRY FOR THE POWER and the brazen RECKLESS (WITH YOUR LOVE) have made their way onto the top of the taste maker's charts and into the sets of many renowned DJs, but they are not just an underground hit machine. Other material wanders into uncharted territory with eerie analog manipulations and constantly evolving soundscapes, sure to lure you in and lead you into some dark alleys of the mind.

With an EP and Single separately debuting in Sept/Oct and live appearances scheduled worldwide for Fall/Winter 09, Azari & III also have a full length album set for release in Spring 2010, and are busy DJing, remixing other artists and producing new material.
