On the 10th of October Phonika will be celebrating its first year anniversary with Freak N Chic at Warehouse702 in Tokyo.

Through the past year Phonika has grown from a small party at Ultra Lounge to taking part in some of the biggest venues in and around the metropolis. Having always selected the very best VJ`s, DJ`s and Live Artists Phonika has been able to take pride in transforming the spaces it has worked in and made them into their own. Whether that be at Womb, Unit, the poolside at Ageha or even their current home at Velours when the event starts it is all fused together to make it a night (or day) to remember.

The past year Phonika has invited some of Tokyo`s most forward thinking DJ`s and Live artists to perform such as Dj Salmon (WC Recordings), Ryo Murakami (Poker Flat), Kikiorix (Ladies & Gentlemen), Yosa (Supplemental/Bein), Satoshi Otsuki (Tres Vibes), Sisi (Timothy Really), OMB (Frame rec), Aosawa (Redbox/Freerange), Ryo Tsutsui (Eden) and many more...

Now Phonika has found a new home in Warehouse702, and has chosen to showcase its first year anniversary there in association with Freak N Chic by giving a Tokyo debut to one of the most in-demand DJ`s on today`s rosters and hottest producers in the charts, Dyed Soundorom. Phonika has been trying to secure this booking for sometime and have managed to squeeze him in between his slots at Fabric, Watergate and Panorama Bar amongst some of the globes other top nightspots.

Next to Dyed Soundorom we will be showcasing one of the most talented live double acts on the Tokyo dance music scene, Salmon & Maki 999 who if you have never seen them before will open up all your senses to some real industrious Electronica. To cast an overview of the past year, Phonika will have residents Groove Patrol and Alex Einz also on the bill with support from Op Disc's Sackrai, Pernod & Wiremobster. VJ`s Cotton and You will be providing the visual aesthetic for the evening with the new look Phonika visual installation to offer you a unique clubbing experience.
