Japan Night presents... Duality at Cable London
We proudly introduce the guest Djs of the night, Moodymanc, Tomoki, Ittetsu, Snuff The Ablist and James. The music of deep tech house with a taste of jazz in Room1 and groovy Hip Hop & RnB spinning in Room2. Two genres of music come together with harmony on one great night, Duality.
He has been causing quite a stir amongst the house community of late. An incarnation of the highly acclaimed Dubble D a.k.a. Danny Ward, his take on house music is very much forward looking whilst deeply rooted in the tradition, and is born of a life of jazz-drumming, crate diggin', tune spinning and beat making via the night clubs, warehouses and basements of his soul loving, native Moodymanchester.
Danny's sound has been endorsed by some of the biggest hitters on the house and techno scene of late with releases and signings on Third Ear, Dessous,Tsuba and Connaisseur, (amongst others...), alongside the success of his cheeky "Moodymanc" imprint from his logtime 2020vision base. Danny has dj'd in clubs and at festivals worldwide both in his own right and alongside live shows with 2020soundsystem with whom he performs both drumming and production duties and through his sets always strives to bring on the party in the most deep and soulful way!

Tomoki started Dj-ing in 1999 in his native Japan and his original blend of sweet and aggressive flavours quickly marked him out as on of the most promising Japanese Djs of his generation. In 2004 he moved to London where he has continued to rock the floor in top venues such as Ministry of Sound, Turnmills, The Cross, AKA, 54, The Notting Hill Arts Club, Herbal and Cargo to name but a few. Tomoki’s trademark fusion of simultaneously tough and soulful deep, tech, electro, minimal and soulful influences has won him many admirers and became the first ever Japanese Dj on Ministry of Sound radio.
Japanese talent has always been thin on the ground in the west…but with Tomoki perhaps the UK club scene at last found its very own ambassador both to and from the land of the rising sun.

There are special moments in clubs when the vibe is spot on, you forget the time. Where you even forget who you are and where you come from. Ittetsu is a house music producer and a DJ who concentrates on trying to deliver these special moments by playing great tracks and solid sets. As Ittetsu builds up his organic tech house sounds with Jun Akimoto (Fasten Musique Concrete), he consistently scores signings to labels such as Welt/Resopal/Metroline, etc. His tracks are supported by Nima Gorji, Anthony Collins, Italoboyz and Kevin Griffith etc.
His alternative House-Production project "nono" began in July 2008. His first release was "Voices" EP on Four:twenty recordings under "Tomoki&nono". This track has been played by important DJs such as Luke Solomon, Satoshi Tomiie, Jim Rivers and Ken ishii etc. He's been consistently releasing tracks on labels such as SAW/Nitegrooves/Seta etc and is set to develop his alternative groove alongside his major projects.
First remix for Ali Kuru's Ep is due out early 2010.
