liverpool is a city built on its docks. rich in history and character, the old port area is the industrial heartland, abandoned for years, and one of the last untouched, uncommercialised areas of the city.

it feels raw and edgy, it feels like a cool place to have a serious party. it feels like mUmU.

this boxing night we will team up with our pals from AZTEC to introduce another exciting, urban space and breath life into a long forgotten, amazing listed warehouse building.

An Italian born producer and DJ, who studied piano for 10 years before he began to produce his own electronic music.He was heavily influenced by the M_NUS sound, and after seeing Ritchie Hawtin play one night, vowed to become part of the family. He made the decision to only send his music to Richie / Minus, ambitious, but he was convinced it was the right thing to – and for him it worked. Now the newest and most exciting addition to the M_NUS stable for along time, he makes his liverpool debut.

A hectic tour schedule has seen him travel the globe, bringing with him a distinct ability to read a crowd (at anytime of the day or night) and make them move. He is a serious favourite of ours, and we bring him back to Liverpool for this special night.

mUmU and circo loco resident clive henry will of course be on hand to get the night into a serious groove. coming to the end of his first full year as resident for mUmU, clive has been a big part in the story this year, and will continue his residency into 2010.

AKA Daniel Warburton. His first EP on Hypercolour Recordings is gaining support from the likes of Laurent Garnier, Lee Jones, Patrice Baumel, Stimming, Will Saul, Plasmik, Milton Jackson, Quarion, and Funk D'Void amongst others, 'Influenza' made it onto Lee Jones' Resident Advisor podcast, whilst 'Dead Arm' is featured on the very first Warung Brazil compilation mixed by the 16 Bit Lolitas. iDJ Magazine described the EP as "one of those timeless pieces that will sound good 10 years either side of today".

An Aztec resident for 2010, Daniel Warburton has a great year ahead of him.
