Kick Up The Dust 2002
2 nd Annual Asian-Australian Band & Dance Competition

Kick Up The Dust, Sydney''s first ever Asian-Australian Band & Dance Competition, returns this year with Kick Up the Dust 2002 on the Saturday, 31 st August 2002 at the Roundhouse, University of New South Wales!

The heats for this highly anticipated competition will be held on the Saturday, 10 th August 2002, also at the Roundhouse, UNSW. Closing date for the heats is on the Saturday, 3 rd August 2002 by 5pm.

The finals will see bands performing music from pop, rock and/or heavy metal genres, and dance groups showcasing various street dance styles such as jazz funk, hip hop and break to a possible full house audience of 1600 people.

Kick Up the Dust 2002 is expected to be a sell out, following the incredible success of last year''s debut, which had attracted a crowd far beyond expectations.
