DEEPGROOVE (Cocoon)
http://www.myspace.com/deepgroove

Over the course of 2009 a cluster of recordings for some of the most influential labels in the world (Cocoon, Rekids, Klang, Harthouse) has seen Deepgroove establish themselves as a force to be reckoned with amongst the legion hordes of globes techno devotees. Their partnership with legendary techno producer Jamie Anderson has led to a steady stream of innovative club destroying moments whilst they have continued to plow their own path through solo remixes and releases.

Unstoppable rolling techno such as ‘Turbo’ for Cocoon Recordings have supplied suitably heavy ammunition for DJ’s like Sven Vath, Richie Hawtin, Carl Cox, Laurent Garnier and Dubfire to tackle their largest festival sets whilst deeper material like The Clock (for Rekids; with it’s subterranean Ben Clock remix) provide incendiary underground grooves to fire up sweatbox after hours and sleazy night spots the world over.

NADASTROM (Dubsided, USA)
http://www.myspace.com/nadastrom

Nadastrom was formed when legendary party DJ Dave Nada and sound engineer Matt Nordstrom got together in 2007. Shortly after they were invited by Switch to join the Dubsided label for a string of EPs. Their first EP, Pussy, went to the top of the Beatport download charts in 2008 and 2009 and tracks from it are frequently played by the like of Diplo and A-Trak.

MOWGLI (Deadfish)
http://www.myspace.com/mowglimusik

Real name Michele Savasta, Mowgli is an Italian DJ/Producer currently living in London.

Having started producing when he was only 15, Michele quickly got involved in the hip hop scene. Arming himself with a sampler and keyboard, Michele produced plenty, however his sound was yet to emerge beyond the bedroom.

After a few years making D'n'B, Michele's changed yet again. It is the period however, of producing Drum and Bass that really helped propel Mowgli, as this type of music helped to bring his production skills to the level they are today.

Today he run's Deadfish, and can be found playing his trademark tribal tech house sound at the world's biggest and best venues on a regular basis.

FREDSKI (Get Physical, DK)
http://www.myspace.com/billebrahe

Chief at Tartelet Records, Fredski is no stranger to us at Always Fridays. Responsible for one of the biggest hits of the last year in the shape of 'March on Swan Lake' with fellow Tart Tomboy, Fredski knows what rocks a crowd.

Most recently releasing on German uber imprint Get Physical, we await Fredski's arrival with baited breath.

PETER PIXZEL (WYS/Always Fridays)

Described as a “One Man Rave,” the Copenhagen-born, London-based DJ/producer has been trotting global dancefloors (from Berlin to Tokyo to Milan) for the better part of a decade, making wondrous music every step the way. Signed to KISMET Records, home of his imaginative remixes and ‘SynthReich’ EP, Peter Pixzel is a prolific producer to keep an eye on, and a brilliantly unpredictable DJ for your head, ears and feet. With beginnings as a house DJ back in 1998 (as resident of Copenhagen’s Mantra nightclub, run by the boss of the legendary Multiplex Records), in-between a myriad of lively gigs Pixzel is currently a resident for both Temba and Always Fridays and of course WetYourSelf at the world famous Fabric in London.

JACOB HUSLEY (WYS/Always Fridays)
http://www.myspace.com/jacobhusley

Resident at Always Fridays and Wet Yourself as well as being signed to Kismet Recs, Jacob Husley will be working the AF crowd with his trademark bouncy techno, twisted electro and maximal minimal.

JOHN & ON (Always Fridays)

AF resident John & On spins a mix of bass heavy techno and late night wonky house

DJ COOKS

Not to be confused with Italy's Crookers but just as cool, London kid Cooks is a blowing the Electroclash scene apart – worldwide. His unique mixing style - on the fly remixing, mashing, manipulating, looping and scratching samples live has catapulted Cooks.

‘Arguably East Londons most talented DJ’ Buster Bennet Super Super Magazine.

From his turntablist past - spinning speed garage and two-step on pirate radio (Rawmission ‘00), to the biggest festivals (Glastonbury, TransMusicales, Offset, Big Chill, etc...) Catwalks (Balenciaga’07) and touring the major super clubs around the globe Cooks intense soundtrack has not only earn him the recognition and respect of regularly being billed amongst names such as Crookers, SebastiAn, Proxy, Hot Chip etc... But has also secured his veteran DJ status as Yo! Majesty’s (Domino US) and Dels (Moshi Moshi UK) tour DJ / support act.

Apart from a busy studio schedule working on his official debut EP and remixing artists such as Franz Ferdinand, Dead Kidz, Micachu, Make the Girl Dance, Cooks also puts out his monthly ‘Beats on Toast mixtapes’ which take the blogging world by storm throughout the seasons. Jam packed with exclusives and pre-releases, having been reviewed by Electronic Beats Magazine as a ‘must-listen’ It’s this unique french-influenced Electro sound mashed with Techno and B-more that’s enough to set any dance-floor on fire.
