Three decades of house music come to the upstairs room of an East End boozer for the first time on Friday 11 December.

Wax'd – the brainchild of residents Nick P Warren and Andy Richardson – is a new monthly party focusing on the deeper shades of house and techno.

As the sun sets over the grottier end of Commercial Road, we celebrate the end of the working week and take to the undiscovered gem that is the top floor of The Castle for a night of classic deep house sounds and cutting edge techno.

This unique, intimate space with panoramic views over E1 is the perfect setting for the first instalment of Wax’d, and the perfect way to kick off your weekend.
