New day time and free in event we're hoping to make a monthly affair in 2010. Doors are at midday, with the action kicking off at 2pm.

The Beatyard is about bringing music lovers together for an afternoon - sharing music, ideas, art, multimedia via education, inspiration & perspiration . For the most part, trying to put music lovers in a space whereby they'll meet like minded people and discover something new or different .

We'll have a record and music equipment fair in the Cafe (along with a coffee throw-down ), various talks and classes in the Mezz, a really interesting music & art exhibition, live music showcases in the Stage , and audio, visual and DJ workshops in the Basement.

Real Sound Present - Reason 4 - A Beginners Guide Dublin's new Real Sound Collective specialise in a teaching a variety of digital music & design programmes via workshops and tutorials going from outright beginners all the way through to those already at an advanced level.

Advancements in Digital DJing with DJ Kormac, Scizofonics & Mario Pandza Digital Djing in a constantly evolving area with new advancements.

Serato for DJs & Turntablists: Scribble Record's DJ Kormac will be showcasing the full possibilities of Serato for a DJ set and scratcing/turntablist session.

Serato AV & DJ: Mr Jones fast rising production stars will be demsonstrating how to piece together an AV & DJ show using Serato's latest AV mixer & package. They'll also be finishing up with a short performance of their own latest AV show.

Traktor Scratch Pro & The Maschine: Croatian Dublin based producer Mario Pandza shows how Traktor Scratch Pro (fast becoming the most popular digital Djing programme) can be used in sync with Native Instrument's fantastic new production tool the Maschine.

Richter Collective Present - Running an independent label in today's music climate The Richter Collective are a Dublin based independent rock/indie/electronica label with an excellent roster of Irish bands including Not Squares, Adebisi Shank, Herv, The Vinny Club and are about to release a very exclusive EP from Messiah J & The Expert. Richter are one of the most successful and innovative independent labels in the country and run their own monthly club night "The Singles Club" to celebrate the launch of their monthly release combined with live shows from their artists.

They'll be talking about how they manage their label in today's challenging music industry.
