Fairmont [Border Community/Canada]

Canadian techno-meister Jake Fairley donned his Fairmont alter-ego once again after several years of abstinence to join Border Community and deliver up the lovable club monster Gazebo, which has since taken on quite a life of its own. But with his Coloured In Memory album we saw the artist really step out from the shadows, with an intimate and personal collection of idiosyncratic techno hits (single Flight Of The Albatross is a perfect example) nestled amongst a warm and cosy home-listening bundle, which Jake has translated into a suitably lush and krauty vocal analogue-electronica show for the live forum. This will be Fairmont's first return to San Francisco in over 5 years! Not to be missed!
