We are delighted to announce that Chamboche, one of the UK’s brightest young producers, will be headlining the first Shameless Disco party of the new decade.
The Nottingham-based DJ had a stellar 2009, with “Ipso Facto” becoming a staple in the sets of any disco jock worth his salt, lauded by the likes of Tim Sweeney, Faze Action and Aeroplane.
Chamboche’s fusion of house, disco and techno fits seamlessly into a new decade in which the musical climate is very much “anything goes”. He recently signed to super hot label Under The Shade and has a string of releases either just out or on the way. This man is undoubtedly one to watch in 2010.
Jac the Disco consists of Jay Rossi & Tom Burns aka Pac and they’ve been working the club scene hard for the past couple of years now. Their club night ‘Last One In’s A Rotten Egg!’ has hosted some great guests over the years such as Brodinski, Riton, the Filthy Dukes, Golden Bug, Serge Santiago and the list goes on. Their DJ schedule in 2009 has been a busy one indeed. You'll hear their wide spectrum of musical knowledge influenced in their sets which encompasses everything from Chicago house to cosmic disco, balearic beats to deep house & techno.
We also welcome the Last Waltz DJ troupe, the men behind the hugely successful Dada night in Newcastle (their list of recent headliners says it all: Magda, Ewan Pearson, Greg Wilson, Ivan Smagghe, Pete Herbert). Expect them to keep things chugging along nicely upstairs and downstairs.
To top things off residents Radeo Vidio, Charlie Boy and Rubicon will be playing the freshest disco and house cuts alongside obscure gems, as they dig deeper and longer than your average, dime-a-dozen East End DJ. Their combined record collection spans genres, eras and continents: from Berlin ‘95 to New York ‘79; Chicago ‘84 to London 2010. From decadence to dirtiness, and a fair amount in between, it's all there.
A night for connoisseurs and first-timers alike, it kicks off at 10 and runs till late.
