Having grown exponentially in its home town of London since its conception Soundcrash has become a bit of an institution, known by music-lovers across the capital as a home of the highest-quality hip-hop, reggae and electronica. This reputation has grown even further afield with some huge shows in Bristol and Glasgow, and the seminal Soundwave festival in Croatia. Having secured it's position as LDN's main proponent of the 'Brighton Sound' through strong links with Tru Thoughts and Zebra Traffic, plus past and present Brightonians such as Bonobo, Amon Tobin, Alice Russell, Fink, and many many more, the heads behind Soundcrash felt it was only natural that they crossed the bridge that they built and started a new monthly night by the seaside.

Heading to Concorde 2 for the first installment are the truly legendary Trojan Sound System and their full live show, guaranteed to rock the pebbles clean off the beach with their monstrous b-lines and dulcit tones, plus some more special guests chosen to teach you sea-siders just what we're all about, in case you don't already know!

Following hot in their trail is Sheffield's Toddla T, a man much in demand. As well as remixing the likes of Roots Manuva, Hot Chip, Roisin Murphy and Tricky; Toddla T has a monthly residency at Fabric and hosts his own show on Radio 1. His own productions - a mixture of electro, dubstep and dancehall - ooze individuality and good humor, and have wreaked havoc on the dancefloors the world over. If you haven't yet seen his music video Fill Up Mi Portion (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PYYfPS3S438), you are missing out! Tonight he will be joined on the mic by Mc Soresee. As the great Roots Manuva would say: "yes, yes, and furthermore, yes".

Kicking the night off will be one of Tru Thought's best recent signings. An acutely talented vocalist, KINNY trained classically as an opera singer before the spontaneity and freedom of jazz, reggae and soul music lured her into pursuing her true passion. KINNY will be flying in from Norway for an exclusive set, so make sure you come out and give her a true Brighton welcome!

Rounding things up nicely is Tru Thought's own Rob Luis. But there's no need to introduce this Brighton stalwart to you, right? Right.
