Busy P (aka Pedro Winter aka ex-manager of Daft Punk) starts the most influential underground dance music label of recent times. From this fantastic movement, Justice appears and pretty much influence a whole generation of dance kids. They win MTV Best Video Award for "We Are Your Friends", piss off Kanye West, make up with Kanye, direct Kanye's video and have Jay Z, Britney Spears and U2 desperate for some Ed Banger love. Meanwhile, back in Paris, So_Me becomes one of the most influential artists in France, DJ Mehdi releases a critically acclaimed album that even Thomas from Daft Punk gets involved with and BANG, Ed Banger are the hottest thing since, well... yeah... Daft Punk.
