A truly unique series of events, ‘A Night With…’ is just that – a night with one artist who will perform for the entire evening, presenting their own personal musical journey from start to finish, to a small and intimate crowd. A simple concept that is focused purely on enjoyment, it strips everything back to the bones to create an extremely special occasion for all those in attendance.

Hosting monthly events, ‘A Night With…’ will take place in a small warehouse in East London. Part of an old leather factory, this 350 capacity is a breathtaking space that has never been used before. A Funktion 1 system will be installed to deliver excellent sound, uniting music, atmosphere and experience in this new pioneering project for the broody London underground.

After programming and promoting T Bar for 5 years and establishing it as one of London’s most influential and forward-thinking music venues, Derren Smart has moved on to set about this new project with Rob Star (mulletover/ Eastern Electrics/ Star of Bethnal Green). "I decided to leave T bar due to their movement in a new direction and the removal of the free entry policy. I wanted to be able to present new concepts and ideas without the restrictions that being responsible for one venue holds." Derren Smart (Jan 2010)

The 2010 series of ‘A Night With...’ will be at an unused warehouse space in the heart of East London, we have taken considerable care to make sure this unique space is exclusive to this incredible series of parties. However, there has been a license issue which is totally out of our control that has resulted in us not being able to launch there until April 10th. We could have done the event in March but the party would have not been licensed threatening many issues. We can not in the current climate risk running an event without a license and I’m sure this is something all ticket holders will appreciate.

The space in Great Suffolk street offers a great alternative for us and although some may have visited the address previously we sincerely believe the space we have chosen within the location reflects a true warehouse experience with some extra touches...........
