Wolf + Lamb
Wolf + Lamb, the NYC-based DJ/production duo and eponymous label responsible for some of the most exciting and imaginative new sounds in electronic dance music. From their growing cult following, centered around the infamous "Marcy Hotel" parties in Brooklyn, they have become one of the most buzz-worthy collectives of the underground dance scene. Resident Advisor included them in their Top 20 Labels of 2009 poll, and their releases have been charted by DJs across the board as they continue to garner wide international acclaim for their unique take on deep post-minimal house.
Trus'me the Prime Numbers boss has been steadily raising his profile over the past couple of years, racking up a flurry of his own sample-heavy releases as well as growing his label with tracks from Linkwood, Move D, Actress and Reggie Dokes. Add to that a residency in NYC and his own D3K festival in Croatia, not to mention a solid block of DJ dates till 2011 there is not many more in demand DJ's on the circuit today. renowned for being the DJ's Dj we can expect Electronic music in it's truest form.
Juan Atkins The Godfather of Techno, Is celebrating the 25th anniversary of Metroplex. Introducing Juan Atkins is no small task. You could use devalued terms like ‘legend’ or ‘godfather’, but they hardly explain why his work should stand alongside the more widely acknowledged masters of modern music. The man who strated the whole Electronic Scene will show the expecting Miami crowd how it's done.
Metro Area brings back the soulful experimentation of early club classics, mixing live and electronic instruments. Simultaneously, the mood and minimalism of more recent dance music forms creep into the mix: Detroit's cold futurism, Chicago's abstract track-modes, and the warmth of New York and New Jersey's deep house.
Representing their new Brooklyn based record label On The Prowl, Runaway plans to rep NYC's house and disco sound to the fullest. The Runaway duo of Marcos Cabral & Jacques Renault have recently had a string of hot singles and remixes for lables such as Chinatown, Aus, Mule Musiq, Need Want, Permanent Vaction, Rekids, I'm a Cliche, and DFA which includes their stellar remix of LCD Soundsystem's 45:33. 2010 starts off with new mixes on Spectral, Crue-L, the Neurotic Drum Band on Wurst and the new "Party Breaks" series on their own On The Prowl lab
