29-year-old Cesar Merveille's recipe for great music involves specialist ingredients. The rapidly rising producer mixes the traditional dance influences of house and techno with his love of art, jazz, wine and the occasional fishing trip to Brittany.

The result is a sound you won't hear anywhere else and has caused quite a stir at one of the worlds most successful in-demand, well-respected and musically exceptional record labels; Luciano’s Cadenza. His superb productions include Chocopop Jazz (Remake Music) and Descarga (Cadenza), among others Luciano has of course included these pumping tracks in his recent sets.

The road to fulfilling his creative ambitions, took Cesar from his native Paris to London, where he did a degree in graphic and media design. After University Cesar founded his own graphic design company, Hijackstudio, but was increasingly drawn to making records. After early releases on the illustrious Safari Electronique label, he hit a new high with Chocopop Jazz - "that's when I knew I wanted to do this full time," he says.

Cesar decided to put the very successful Hijackstudio on hold and devoted himself 100% to music. The results of his decision are clear to see: a burst of creativity that fuelled Descarga and promises a string of exciting new releases including another solo project on Cadenza and a collaboration with Ryan Crosson (Wagon Repair, M_nus) due out on Circus Records.

Cesar knows how to work a crowd, never failing to give spectacular performances every time he plays. His increasingly busy tour schedule takes in some of the hottest clubs in Europe, including T-Bar & Fabric (London), Harry Klein (Munic), Rex Club (Paris), Watergate, Weekend & Arena (Berlin) to mention a few.

We’re damn proud and happy to have him come over& rock our next fucking party.. so come on down and shake some ass to his fantastic tunes.
