Line-up /Main Room:
For the first Bank Holiday of the year, we’ve set nothing but the best for the Junk faithful in what is proving to be a mammoth weekend. Nicely sandwiched between Herve on the Friday and Watergate vs. Zoo Project on the Sunday – yes, you read it right (not to mention Bang Bang on the Boat), we give you a Saturday night with just some of our on-point residents to keep it just how it like – banging all weekend long!
Heading the bill is the one and only James Talk. Just ahead of his Australian Tour from the 8th to the 18th April, James touches back down to his hometown of Southampton, straight to the club to take to the Junk booth, showing us just why he’s in such high demand around the world. With a busy start to the year, James has already globe-trotted to some of the year’s opening parties including the well-known Penguin in Tel-Aviv, famed for its Breakfast Club parties, hedonistic club policies and obscure décor, not to mention after jetting back from down under John Digweed has requested his talents for his KISS 100 Transitions guest mix – James, the head of Spoken Records, is a name that is guaranteed to bring it hard, just how we like it.
Accompanying James are the two names behind High Tide. Winging their way to Junk before shooting up to London to play Ministry of Sound on the same night - only to return to Southampton to host the Boat on the Sunday with Josh Wink and the Bang Bang Crew – Gary Bennetton and Dan Reid have set themselves a marathon of a weekend! Well known on the South Coast for relentlessly bringing what is needed to their sets and their parties, High Tide and Junk residents Gary and Dan keep the weekend at its foremost and it starts at the club.
A cranking weekend with names stacked from Friday through Sunday – Keep it where you love it.
