The salty haze of summer will soon descend on Sydney again... and those glorious January memories will be overshadowed by another amazing party on the harbour. Come cruising with the Musica Discoteque once more, as the Lady Rose rolls over the waves and the sunrays slice through the skyline. This is an exclusive opportunity to experience the perfect party, and tickets are very limited.
The Musica Summer Series presents, alongside our exquisite local lineup, two very special international guests...
Sébastien Léger - 3hr set
Calling him a huge contributor to the electronic scene doesn't quite cut it. Call him a visionary, and a global conquerer, and you're getting closer. Putting his trademark punch, funk and swing into digital beats, he has shaped the sound of labels from Defected to Intec, remixing artists from Cirez D, to Carl Cox, to Ron Carroll. His original productions have topped 50, under his own name as well as Elesse and The Deaf'n'Dumb Crew. Sébastien Léger is reconstructing contemporary electronic music as we know it, and he's set to blow the Summer Series out of the water with a 3 hour set.
Chris Lake (EXCLUSIVE SYDNEY SHOW) - 3hr set
In a whirlwind of global praise from the world's electronic elite, Chris Lake has been hailed as the biggest talent in dance music to emerge in recent times. DJs like Sasha, Sander K and Nic Fanciulli have had his productions on high rotation, and his massive hit Changes was Pete Tong's Essential New Tune in 2005. With the new vocal mix of Changes already getting caned by Tong on Radio1, and a global release imminent, Chris Lake is about to become a household name. Musica has secured him for his only Sydney gig this year - do not miss this exclusive appearance!
FULL LINEUP:
Upper Deck: Alex Taylor, Pete Farris
Middle Deck: Ben Morris, Simon Caldwell, The Potbelleez
Lower Deck: Kane Bligh, Sébastien Léger, Chris Lake
