Animals Dancing is very excited to present Adelaide band The Swiss, in their first Melbourne headline show.

One of the most exciting bands Australia has produced in recent times, The Swiss pride themselves on being a real, live disco band. While disco has become the fashionably ‘nu’ catch cry of the present, The Swiss are one of the first bands to faithfully revive the energy and feeling of the past, whilst simultaneously managing to produce cutting edge music.

The lead track from their recently released “Bubble Bath” EP on Modular has been on national rotation on Triple J and has received rave reviews from Aeroplane, Erol Alkan, Sinden and more. Their full live show has graced the Big Day Out, supported Ladyhawke, and been the backup band for Empire of The Sun on the Parklife tour. Bass player Sidwho? has also been making waves on his own, having recently done a mix for Tim Sweeney’s Beats in Space radio show.

Catch their last Australian show before they head off to New York and into stardom.

The Swiss are joined by their Modular stable mate Knightlife, who’s remix also features on their “Bubble Bath” EP. Knightlife has released two original records entitled I and II, as well as adding his unique sound to remixes of Bag Raiders, Alex Gopher, Midnight Juggernauts and Cutters label bosses Cut Copy.
