Did you know that in the late 1920's Kellett St was the central stomping ground of two of Sydney's most notorious gangland figures, Tilly Devine and Kate Leigh. The two bitter rivals feuded in this very street in order to gain local domination and title of Queen of the Underworld, in what to was become known as the Razor Gang wars.

In an acknowledgment of this colourful slice of Sydney's past, Tonic Lounge is celebrating Women's History Month, and we would love you to get involved.

On Friday 26th March, we are donating our door proceeds to UNIFEM, a great organisation who are currently focusing on assisting and protecting women migrant workers in Indonesia with workplace rights and safe housing. Each donation will get a purple ribbon to proudly show your support for this cause.

We've got tickets to see Alice In Wonderland, Drink Cards, and Free entry passes to those of you who put in the best effort in dressing up for the night. Our theme is "Women Of History" - think, Hilary Clinton, Marylyn Monroe, Wonder Woman, Cleopatra, Pippi Longstocking, Mother Theresa, or Pamela Anderson - Special points will be given to those of you who dress up 1920's "Razor Gang".

Our DJ's on the night are two of Sydney's biggest soul sisters, JOSIE STYLES and KALI - dropping a delicious selection of dancefloor grooves.
