The weekend of June 5th will start of on a different note, as we are preparing an exclusive blend of jacking house and techno guaranteed to keep you captivated from 3AM on Saturday, June 5th well into the Saturday Night. Get Physicals first lady and BBC Radio 1’s Radio host Heidi, will be in charge from the early start through mid-day, when Joel Mull takes to the decks, making his long awaited return to New York and controlling the floor with his staple Drumcode sounds. As the nice weather is already here, we'll start off indoors and then go al fresco as the day progresses!

Growing up in Windsor, Ontario Canada, just across the border from Detroit, Heidi had a childhood filled with the sounds of classic rock, blues and folk. It wasn’t long, though, before the sounds of the Motor City and Chicago led her to a deep and lifelong passion for underground dance music. A move to London in 2000 to immerse herself in the music scene led to a job working at the now defunct Koobla Records, and in 2003 Heidi was part of the team that opened up London’s foremost record shop, Phonica. Through her work there she gained invaluable experience of the scene and underground culture, and began helping put together sets for many of the country’s top DJs. This soon led her from vinyl fanatic to budding DJ, of which the wildly successful Get Physical label took note in 2004, making her a unique staple for the label in Berlin, where she currently resides.
Throughout the last few years Heidi has played the world’s best clubs including Fabric, Panoramabar, Womb, Space Ibiza, with residencies at Watergate and Monza, having played on every continent except Antarctica in 2009 alone. The festival circuit has also welcomed her, showcasing her booty-shaking beats on the stages of DEMF, UltraFest, Bestival, Electric Zoo, Exit Festival, Balaton, and many more.

Joel Mull’s DJ Career took off when he began playing parties around the Underground clubs of Stockholm in 1994. Not long after, he got an offer to hold his first Residency three times a week at UNIT CLUB, located on the famous Reeperbahn in Hamburg, Germany. The club had just moved to a new Venue and they searched for undiscovered talent to play their techno nights. Joel was 20 at the time and this was an offer that would be one of the important ones, the chance to attend the best school a DJ could get. The venue had capacity for 1200 people. It was the first real opportunity Joel had to learn how to master the crowd through the long journey of the night. It was not unusual for him to play a 10 hour set and build his sets around different levels of styles. For over 3 years, 3 times a month, Joel was warming up, closing and playing along-side many of the important DJ's on the national and international circuit. ruesoul, Audiomatique, Drumcode, Saved records, Cocoon, Harthouse and Railyard recordings are SOME of the platforms which aid him spreading the message today. Joel's tunes are getting played by many of the key figures in the electronic dance community, DJ's such as sasha, digweed, loco dice, adam beyer, steve rachmad, nic fanciulli and heiko laux are all big supporters of his sound. He will definitely be known as one of the few who more than rode but created the wave of electronic music and he will always be mentioned regarding Swedish techno!
