This is a huge week for us! Reason being that the founder of Broken Teeth - Mike Townsend, and DJ Select will be gracing us with their presence. We are celebrating the reunion of the Texas & NYC Broken Teeth crew and the new new york resident DJ SELECT! Come out for some cum in your face dubstep and Dancehall reggae vibes for this special edition. We also have Pharaoh, fresh back from tour, CTRLALTDEL, MC DRHU and TINY throwing down the 4x4 vibes!

After relocating to Dallas, Texas, he purchased his first set of turntables at 16. Select got his first start playing out at "PALM
BEACH REGGAE CLUB" where he immediately fell in love with reggae/ dancehall music. He gained hisfirst weeklyat the age of 18and was given the name "SELECT" by his mentor, selector "Curtis G." After DJing at numerous clubs around Texas, SELECT reconnected with DJ Nature and The Party was born. Later adding Sober to the collective, The Party holds down 2 monthlies in Dallas, Austin, and Houston. Theybooked and openedfor acts likeTimbaland, Krames, Klever, Blaqstarr, Rye Rye and Justice. He himself hasopened upfor or played withElvis Costello, Quest Love, Pete Rock, Cool Kids, Ricky Blaze, Flosstradamus, Paul Wall, Spank Rock, DJ Craze, B Hamp, Pase Rock, Roxy Cottontail, Queen Majesty, Smif N Wessun, Radioclit, VHS or Beta, and Ratatat. Just to name a few....

When Select plays expect a lot of different music. He stays away from the current trend that has engulfed mainstream music and strives to play amix of old, classic, and current music in his sets. His music ranges from hip hop (classic & new), house (classics & new), funk, disco, and reggae (culture & dancehall - old/new). His sets are well rounded and ready for a crowd for any night!

The founder of BROKEN TEETH, Mike has been pushing the electronic music scene for over 5 years. The Broken Teeth brand was conceived by Mike and currently has had the privileged to collaborate and produce events with Kingdom (Fools Gold), Poirier (Ninja Tunes), Savage Skulls (Mad Decent), L-Vis1990(Nigh Slugs), Crystal Fighters (Kitsune), Shuttle (Ninja Tunes), Dubbel Dutch, Reid Speed, Palms Out Sounds and many more. Located in Texas, Mike has started a new party with Genova called Say Something and in recently has launched the BROKEN TEETH Label.
