A self-described vinyl obsessive, Rahaan has been dropping disco and funky house beats to retro music heads since the 80’s when he and his friends use to dance at the best house parties in Chicago. Along with his superlative track selection, his outstanding skills behind the decks have brought him from the Chicago underground circuit out onto the international playing field of Japan, Australia, Amsterdam, Spain, Ireland, Scotland, England and throughout America.

Before Rahaan made his presence on the global dance floor, he was playing his music from cassette tapes with his dance crew called the Chuck Brothers. Then in the 90’s, Rahaan built up his reputation as one of Chicago’s finest Disco/House DJs, playing at “The Spot” and performing guest spots for Sisterz of Vision and Soul In The Hole club nights, as well as holding a residency at “Budda Lounge” – one of Chicago’s best nightclubs.

In 2000, Rahaan caught the attention of Four Play Music who signed and released his first major tracks, ‘Coming Hard’ and “No Time for Love.” Since then, Rahaan has released numerous tracks through music labels JiscoMusic, Stilove4music, KAT and was a producer on Peven Everett's "Sexy One" on Unified Records. His performances have included the Southport Weekender, Northern Soul and Bring The Heat parties.

On his way to an extended European tour, Rahaan promises to drop on NYC one of his head spinning, disco house classics set that has made the world scream "LET THERE BE HOUSE."
