From the bumping tropical incarnations of Deboot to the the now defunkt (reincarnated as Numbers) Stuff label - most known for Rustie's 'Cafe de Phresh' and 'Jagz the Smack' releases - Offshore has served up the goods. Those goods combined with his mixtape blends showcase a range of influences ranging from the boom bap jitter of Rustie, growling grime and gritty bricolaged harmonies. Another home coming, this one for DO IT! originator and digger of all things beats related - Uraki Riddim who returns from Oslo to play a strictly vinyl set of anything from boombap to Detroit. Joining the dots between White Chocolate's 80s chocolate jack and Uraki Riddim's beats is Kid Bell who is widely acknowledged and respected as a digger of the darker to lighter sides of soul.
