Snax, co host of HEADACHE, has been a Berliner since 2002, first as one half of disco pop group Captain Comatose then later breaking out on his own; producing or co-producing such hits as “$100” and “Honeymoon’s Over.” Over the past 7 plus years, Snax has collaborated and toured with the likes of Jamie Lidell, The Scissor Sisters, Peaches, Kaos, Shapemod and Nu Frequency. Tonight with his band The Snackettes, plus guest vocalists Eric D. Clark and Demanda Fox, he offers up one of his dynamic live sets in celebration of the release of his latest LP "Special Guest Star."

"Special Guest Star" is the name of the latest collection of tunes by the electronic soul artist, released digitally on his own imprint, Random Records. For this, his third full LP, Snax called upon the talents of many of his lovely and talented friends including Eric D. Clark, Jamie Lidell, Ms. Le Bomb, G. Rizo and last but not least, The Snackettes (Nadine Borau, Alessandro Tartari and Jules Etienne). From the house flavored title track, to the mid tempo funk of “Can’t Be Bothered”, to the slamming party track “Get In Trouble”, to the spiritual meditation “Back To Start”, Snax covers a lot of ground this go ‘round.

Joining in the festivities as HEADACHE's guest DJ is the lovely and talented Massimiliano Pagliara, tonight known as DJ Massi. Massi has released his signature cosmic disco records on such labels as Live At Robert Johnson, Balihu and Rush Hour. Get ready for some tasty, booty-shaking floor fillers from this Italian lovely.

And as always downstairs in our Wagner Lounge, Dr. Eklatant returns to massage your eardrums with audible medication from his vinyl cabinet, while visual treats decorate the walls and bend your mind.
