That's a good excuse anyway...
Deepfrequency.com the brainchild of Guillaume Chottin & Simon Halpin recently celebrated 2 years of online broadcasting, with over 60 resident DJ's presenting shows from UK, FRANCE, GERMANY, USA & RUSSIA and more, sharing deep and diverse contemporary underground dance music as well as Ambient, Afro, Dub, Disco, Jazz, Latin & World Music. The station has also been graced with exclusive extended guest mixes from DJ's David Mancuso (The Loft NYC), Felix Dickinson (Cynic) Darshan Jesrani (Metro Area), Gerry Rooney (Black Cock Recs), Joel Martin (Quiet Village), DJ Kaos (Berlin), Phil Mison (Reverso 68), amongst many others...
Some of you will remember Deepfrequency's past parties at The Others feat station DJ's station and guest dj's Frankie Valentine, Joel Martin(Quiet Village) & Sean P (Better Days, Claremont 56).
Deepfrequency's Management and DJ's 'Simon Halpin' & 'Guillaume Chottin' will be adding their musical selections and in house decorations to the day, skills they apply in at the London Lucky Cloud Loft Parties for David Mancuso.
Johnny Chingas (Spacemachine & Deepfrequency.com) will be adding hot good disco grooves to make you move and extra heat to the Bar B Q...Chingas always cooks up a storm in any departmment.
DJ Alex & Cedric Woo (Voices Collective, Deepfrequency.com) roll out their own custom built ATC/QUESTED Sound System so you can hear and feel the music ALL DAY the RIGHT WAY...
Expect a Balearic selection of Afro, Dub, Jazz, Deep House, Disco, World Music and more. You know the drill...
The Cafe venue upstairs at Bocking St Studios on the corner of Cambridge Heath Road, Mare St is also located a comfortable 5 mins walking distance from Broadway Market and London Fields E.8. We have an large outdoor space adjacent to the dance area and cool cafe where during the day you can take the selection of alcohol drinks, teas & coffees, cakes, snacks.
So you can hang in the sun (hopefully it will be with us), take a bite from the Barbeque and catch up with friends new and old and watch the sun go... before 'gettin down' with us.
Admission is £5.00 all day/night, a bank holiday treat indeed.
