These are just some of the questions we’ve been asked recently and only 1 of them is true (we do sleep sometimes)… We’ve been warming up for winter and planning some huge acts to follow over the next few months with some rising stars, some old favourites and more than just a few surprises for the Destination? massive!

I digress though; let’s get to the next party… Destination? presents a “Sunday Session” at our favourite & fully “Funktion 1’d” venue in Sydney, 202 Broadway. On the June long weekend we are bringing you one of Funk & Breaks most respected and connected Djs, Producers, Radio Show Hosts and all round nice guy ALI B.

Ali B is the head honcho of Air Recordings in the UK and is a prominent member of London’s leftfield scene. Over the last decade he has held down residencies at the capital’s two most influential clubs. He spent his teens working at the Acid Jazz label and then as a DJ,made his mark as resident at the legendary Blue Note club. He now resides at Fabric where he has been from the day it opened. He has also extensively toured Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Asia and The US, taking his sound to an international audience.

Ali B’s infamous Air parties have been running since the mid nineties at venues across London, including The Blue Note, 333, Mass, Electrowerkz, Rhythm Factory and its current home, Cargo. Air is now a worldwide name having hosted arenas at festivals such as Glastonbury, Global Gathering, Hi-Fi, Future Music Festival (Australia) and more. It is widely acknowledged as the biggest force in British beats regularly playing host to artists including The Plump DJs, Stanton Warriors and The Freestylers.
