Line-up /John Daly (feel music)
Barry Walsh (sunday times)
Eight days after that venture into the deep abyss of Detroit house and techno (Sat July 3), we voyage to the outer extremities of universe for Thunder Moon featuring John Daly and Barry Walsh. Ever since its inception, this has been the IDEAL moons party situation - two of the best DJs with the most incredible music selection, in the middle of summer and for six hours!! John Daly's exploits over the last few years are well known to most, with him becoming one of the most well respected producers of present with every release un-missable - something I don't think could be said for many other producers in the world. He has been putting out his own blend of disco-flavoured house since 2006, knocking up releases on Mule Musiq, Francois K's Wave Music, Drumpoet, Plak, IRR and his own Feel Music. 'Musically, it is not only in the house realm that Daly's releases and DJ sets lie, with divergences to techno and future jazz featuring just as prominently as his concentration on Balearic and disco'.
Joining Mr.Daly is Barry Walsh, one half of the Sunday Times Soundsystem who are en route to taking over the world one discotheque at a time! This is his fourth moons party, which suggests how good of a dj we think he is - always bringing great energy, fun and with better records than anyone I've met, be they disco, house or whatever else he has tucked away in his monster record bag(s)! This is going to be a whole lotta fun for sure, with shananigans kicking off at 8pm in the beer garden!
Admission for both is €10/8 with rsvp to firstname.lastname@example.org
