We are going to put on a free party this Sunday as a celebration of fun times, friends, and great football and off course great music. As England have reached the next stage of the World cup and are playing Germany plus Argentina are playing too (For Guille and his friends)

Both games are going to be shown inside and outside with a sheltered area where there will be 100 seats plus standing areas plus cocktails and we are bringing in our own tasty BBQ. Rob Mello & Pete Herbert are both playing after alongside the residents.
Then straight after the madness carries on at the Horse and Groom.

After a storming full to capacity Bank holiday party where peeps partied for 14hrs over both venues and Move D delivered a storming house set alongside all the great guest Discovery continues their fun packed summer soirees with a June Midsummer party as usual the party kicks off on the lovely Papermill Terrace for the afternoon setting expect all things Balearic with a fantastic outdoor location where we will be maximising the fun with an outdoor cocktail bar and a mouth-watering BBQ alongside the djs and sound system so we can enjoy some good Summer vibes.. Expect Palm Trees, deck chairs, decorations and some fantastic music as the djs set the pace for the night time session ahead then carries on for the night time rave at the Horse and Groom. Each monthly party expect guest playing you would not normally expect to play in such intimate spaces for this one we have not one but 2 of the hottest producers of underground house and disco we welcome remixer du jour Pete Herbert (Reverso 68) and Rob Mello (Disco 45) one guest will be joining us on the terrace and one for the afters at the Horse and Groom. Discovery guests have included Warm, Move D, I:Cube, The Revenge, Pilooksi, Brennan Green, It’s fine line (Tim Paris & Ivan Smagghe), Craig Richards, Ray Mang, Faze Action, Greg Wilson, Curious People, Phil Lamb and many more. Watch out for a bumper 2 day event in August too.

One time proprietor of the infamous Atlas Records shop in Soho, London over a decade ago, Pete divides his time these days either behind the wheels of steel at clubs and parties around the globe or in the studio working solo or with friends on various musical projects...
For Eskimo Recordings in Belguim Pete has released as Reverso 68 with the balearic timelord himself Phil Mison releasing recent classics such as Tokyo Disko, Especial and Piece Together (with Todd Terje on remix duty) as well as remixing the likes of Juan Maclean, Grace Jones, Ajello, Tosca, Bent and Badly Drawn Boy amoungst others and they are currently working towards an album due out soon.. Pete has also recorded as LSB alongside Barcelonas finest DJ and club terrorist Babyg. Three monster hits for Eskimo, plus two mini albums-worth of re-edits and singles on their own label Superdiscoteca in the last few years and a string of peaktime dancefloor remixes for the likes of The Runaways, Ilija Rudman and Low Motion Disco have seen the LSB sound rise to the fore in recent times. Pete also records under his own name, recently remixing the likes of Royksopp, Dirty Jesus, Ilija Rudman, and D:Ream as well as releasing for his label Specialist Interests and has recently teamed up with Barry Reeves (Dicky Trisco) for their new label MAXI DISCS focusing on their take of Tropical House with releases by Norwegian Marius, Ray Mang and Pete and Barry themselves..
When not in the studio Pete can be found regularly behind the decks at places such as Fabric in his native London and other forward thinking clubs around Europe and has recently and regularly done stints djing in Australia, Indonesia, Brazil, India, Russia, Croatia, Lithuania, Paris, Ibiza,Tel Aviv and beyond... expect a unexpected mix of Balearic leftfield disco/house/italo/dub/funk and beyond!!

Rob Mello
London based DJ and Producer; Rob Mello has recorded, produced, and remixed a diverse catalogue of releases since 1992. One of his guises was the pioneering disco and house duo Disco Elements/ Sensory Productions, Previously signed to Azuli Records. Rob was also co-founder of the saucy house label Luxury Service and produced the first Black Science Orchestra single with Ashley Beedle, "Where were you", released on the legendary London house label, Boys Own. Since then Rob has been appearing regularly on Classic Records and after 10 years of releases for this label has produced the very last release on this ground breaking label (Cat nos 000).
Rob has also made the move into film score work. In 1999 Rob, with Matthew Herbert, was responsible for writing all the incidental music on the UK club culture movie, Human Traffic for which they were up for nomination for a BAFTA. Rob has been DJing since 1986 and has pioneered his own style that is much in demand with various regular appearances and residences all over the world, far too many to mention!
