Warsaw native Peter Sliwinski aka Echoplex is the force and brain behind Soleil Records. Considered one of the so-called 3rd and final wave of Detroit techno artists, he made his second home across the river in Windsor, Canada. Aside from Soleil, his productions have appeared on Synewave, Kanzleramt, Torema, Tresor, Mosquito, M_nus, Nova Mute and more, under such aliases as Echoplex, Niteworks (with Damon Wild), Del Sud, Vocodic Sfera, Les Autres Circuites and Digital Princezz. These releases are permanent fixtures of the record boxes & feature regularly in the sets of Techno’s elite, but he is also famed for his intense Live performances and energetic DJ mixes all around the globe- Japan, the USA, Norway, Holland, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, France, Belgium, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Spain, Russia, Iceland and Denmark. Now touring Australia for the first time courtesy of Tonal Events (Adelaide) & the Melbourne Techno Collective, he’ll bring his 3 Hour DJ/Live performance to The Shamrock in Brisbane for PLEXUS³, alongside some of this year’s finest emerging Local Techno producers & respected DJ talent.
