Summer is in full swing, and we’re plotting our next unmissable party – a welcome respite from the wallet-busting festival agenda, Data Transmission presents brings you an unparalleled night of fun and debauchery at London’s newest pop-up venue, with a very special headliner.
We’re throwing a party at Finsbury Park’s The Silver Bullet (only open until the end of the year), showcasing the incredible sounds of Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs – the UK’s hottest new live act. We first discovered him at Secret Garden Party last year, stumbling across him rocking the shit out of the biggest tent at the festival, and soon set about hounding him down. Signed to the Hot Chip-affiliated Greco-Roman Records (also home to Drums Of Death, L-Vis 1990 and more), he’s found huge fans in the likes of Rob Da Bank, The Guardian and Annie Mac with his hyperactive blend of electro, rave, garage and house. His live show is unlike anything you’ve seen or heard before, and never fails to set the crowd alight – see recent appearances at KOKO, Camden Crawl and That Mixmag Thing for proof…
Tickets are only £5 and we can’t tell you how excited we are about having him play for us. He really is that good. Support comes from those pesky rogues Union DJs (Ibiza Rocks / Reclaim The Dancefloor) + Data Transmission’s faithful DJs, Mark Batch, Grahame Farmer and Ben Gomori.
Check out some taster vids of his live show below.
